Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Swat & Saidu Sharif was established in 1990. BISE Swat conducts annual and supply exams of SSC and HSSC classes in the district of Swat and its nearby areas. There are hundreds of public and private schools and colleges in the areas under the jurisdiction of Swat Board and all of these educational institutes are affiliated with BISE Swat. Every year, thousands of regular students from these schools and colleges and registered private candidates appear in the SSC and HSSC exams under BISE Swat.

All the schools and colleges under the jurisdiction of Swat Board start the new academic year of matric class in April and for the intermediate classes in September. The admission and registration process for these classes begin couple of months before the start of the new academic year and this admission process completes within the given time frame.

Model papers are very important from examinational point of view as these model papers inform the students about the new paper pattern and syllabus of exams while Swat Board changes he paper pattern and syllabus almost every year. BISE Swat issues these model papers every year and matric and intermediate class students can download their required model papers from the official site of the board. Past papers inform the students about important questions which are expected to come in the exams and students can purchase these past papers from the market.

March and May are the months for the start of annual exams of SSC and HSSC classes under BISE Swat. Date sheets and roll number slips for these exams are issued by the board two months and one month before the start of the exams respectively. Date sheets show the complete schedule of the exams and are available at the official site of the board. Roll number slips inform about roll numbers, time table & venue of exams and other important details. Roll number slips are mailed to the students by the board.

Swat Board start the checking of papers soon after the end of examinations of matric and intermediate exams. The results of these exams are announced after two or three months of the exams. The results are uploaded at the official site of the board soon after its announcement while the students also receive their result cards after days of the announcement of the results of their respective class.

Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Swat holds the BISE Swat primary & middle classes annual exams every year and Swat Board has mandate to improve standard of education in the government schools of Swat Board. The students are asked to forward their registration forms before the start of the BISE Swat 5th & 8th classes annual exams 2024 in time.
